Neurology resident with interest in Parkinson's disease, executive ideator, educator, skills trainer, facilitator, coach
Uppsala, Sweden | Medical Practice
7 years of work experience as a medical doctor in the field of neurology, last 3 years as part of a neurology residency. Interest within neurology in movement disorders and specifically Parkinson's disease.Other interests include: quality improvement, patient safety.
When I don't work as medical doctor (my other professional roles):
More than 10 years of experience turning ideas into reality. Sometimes the ideas solve problems for myself and sometimes for people all around me. Some solutions become sustainable and others don't. Sometimes the solution is so needed, that it turns into a movement: the leadership summer school which will have it's 10th edition this year is an example of a movement. Some important facts here: 1) successes are built on the learning from failures 2) successes are a product of the work of many. 3) Nothing of significance I achieved, I achieved alone.
10 years experience as educator and soft skills trainer: designing, organising and delivering courses in university setting and for student organisations. Topics include: quality improvement in healthcare, clinical neurology (basics), patient centered interdisciplinary parkinson research, leadership (personal development and teamwork related courses). E-learning in the field of neurology.
10 years of experience as free lance workshop facilitator: assignments included creation of consensus statements and papers targeted at health and/or education politics, strategy development for working groups / networks / organisations, staff development, inspiration, planning.
e-health, e-learning, health status self-monitoring, patient centered care, health outcome measurement, patient education, learning environment design, app development,
